Privacy policy

Plush Shelf is made by Aleksander Pietrzak. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.

The short version: Plush Shelf does not collect any data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What stays on your device

Everything you add (plushies, names, notes, prices, dates, wishes and photos) is stored only on your iPhone, inside the app's own storage. We never receive it and cannot see it. Your regular device backups to iCloud or a computer may include this data, under Apple's own policies.

Photos and camera

The app asks for access to your camera and photo library only when you photograph or choose a picture of your plush. Photos are copied into the app's storage on your device and are never uploaded. If you use the background cutout feature, it runs entirely on your device.

Motion

The display shelf can tilt gently as you move your phone. The app reads the motion sensor only while the display shelf is on screen; readings are used on the spot and are never stored or sent anywhere.

Backups

If you choose to back up, the app saves a backup file to your iCloud Drive (in a "Plush Shelf" folder) or to any location you pick in the Files app. Those files are under your control and are handled by Apple or the service you choose, under their own privacy policies.

Purchases

Plush Shelf Pro is an optional one-time purchase through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; we receive no payment details or personal information, only Apple's confirmation that the purchase is valid.

Sharing and exports

When you share a card or export a spreadsheet, the app creates an image or file on your device and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes is up to you.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your data, because we never have it. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics code and does not track you across apps or websites.

Children

Plush Shelf is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Deleting your data

You can delete plushies and wishes inside the app. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device. Backup files you saved are yours to delete from iCloud Drive or the Files app.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, and loads nothing from third parties. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver the pages securely.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
